YOUR ITINERARY:

Day 1.  Travel to overnight stay in Erskine.
Day 2.  North to Pitlochry Travel through the Highlands to the highland capital of Inverness. Time at leisure in Inverness before completing trip to Thurso.
Day 3.  Enjoy a day of leisure at Thurso. Alternatively optional half day excursion to Queen Mother’s Castle of Mey.
Day 4.  Depart Scrabster at 13.15 hrs with Northilink Ferries on the 90 minute crossing to Stromness.  A soup and sandwich lunch will be served en route. Reboard the coach in Stromness and meet your locl guide on Orkney. Excursion begins with a visit to Skara Brae. Continue to Orkney’s main town of Kirkwall and the St. Magnus Cathedral. Relics of the two world wars lie both within and around the flow, seven German ships, the Chruchill Barriers with their beached blockships and Italian chapel. Dinner is taken in a local restaurant, followed by a visit to the magnificent Ring of Brodgar. Proceed to Kirkwall port to board Northlink Ferries’ 11 pm service to Shetland.
Day 5.  Breakfast  is served onboard. Rejoin the coach in Lerwick and meet your local guide for the day’s sightseeing on Shetland. There is free time in Lerwick, before we continue. Re board the Northlink Ferry and enjoy a carvery-style dinner as you sail overnight to Aberdeen.
Day 6.  Breakfast is served onboard, before disembarking in Aberdeen. Travel along Royal Deeside, passing Balmoral and through the Pass of Glenshee, overnight in Erskine.
Day 7.  Leisurely drive home.
